GRAFO-THERM PREPERATION and APPLICATION VENTILATION must be adequate for cyclic drying of Grafo-Therm
SPRAY and BRUSH GRADE
PREPERATION
Remove old coatings such as lime and distemper, mould and algae growth and all loose material by scraping, wirebrushing and washing
Clean off any grease and dirt with a detergent wash, and rinse off with clean water.
Gloss paint surfaces must be rubbed down to provide a key.
Metal surfaces must be protected against corrosion. If rusty, clean off all loose rust and coat with Grafo-Penetrust.
Clean and dry new metal should be pre-coated with Grafo-Metalprime or any other good rust inhibitor.
Grafo-Therm can be applied directly on to clean, dry, Galvanised and BSC colour coated metal.
After cleaning, surfaces which have been contaminated by mould and algae must be saturated with Grafo-Biowash to kill any remaining spores. Allow to dry.
Grafo-Therm has excellent adhesion to most clean, dry surfaces but for maximum efficiency, porous and semi-porous surfaces such as concrete, plaster, asbestos, cement, etc. should be sealed with Grafo-Flexprime.
Prior to application the surface to be treated must be clean and dry and the treated surface must not be subjected to moisture or frost before the initial drying has been completed.
We recommend Aquarid Anti-Condensation Compound for surfaces likely to be subjected to mould or algae growth.
Grafo-Therm incorporates an extremely effective fungicide.
Aquarid is another excellent Grafo-Products Ltd. product.

STORE AWAY FROMEXTREMES OF TEMPERATURE

SPRAY GRADE - APPLICATION
Thoroughly stir the Grafo-Therm and apply with an air spray system such as similar to Graco 10-1 Ratio pump and spray gun with 5mm nozzle, - 130cfm compressor 100psi or a Hopper loaded spray gun with 5mm nozzle, 8-10cfm compressor 100psi.
Thickness can vary from 0.6mm to 2.5mm according to the severity of the problem being treated.
One kilo per M² will provide an average 1.1mm thickness.

BRUSH GRADE - APPLICATION
Thoroughly stir the Grafo-Therm and apply by brush, roller or airless spray.
To provide a key for brushing or rollering on painted and galvanised surfaces and to seal porous surfaces such as plaster, terracotta, wood, etc. apply Grafo-Gripaprime and allow to dry.
Grafo-Gripaprime leaves a surface like fine sandpaper to enable the filler laden Grafo-Therm to grip the surface.
Do not overbrush as this will cause lifting.
Apply Grafo-Therm directly onto the textured surface by brush and roller, brush in one direction only, apply at the rate of 1kg per M² for severe condensation problems, do not exceed 1.5M² per Kg.

REDECORATION
Apply Grafo-Fungicide Emulsion.

This product is Non-Toxic and Non-Combustible
Keep container closed when not in use.
Wear Gloves and approved eye protection. If skin contact occurs, wash and dry with soapy water.
If eye contact occurs, immediately wash out with large amounts of clear water, and continue for 10 minutes. Obtain medical help.
Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapour.
Do not take internally.
